Mary Kom Performed Very Well, As She Bagged 2 Gold Medals In 2018
Indian boxer Mary Kom reached on number one position in the International Boxing Association (AIBA)’s latest world rankings.
Mary Kom is six-time world champion and preparing herself for Tokyo Olympic 2020. She is the most successful boxer in world boxing championships. In update AIBA ranking, she is on the top in her particular weight division with highest 1700 points.
She will now jump to 51 kg for Tokyo Olympic next year. He earlier fought in 48 kg category but this time, 48 kg is not included in the games.
She is inspiring Indian sportspersons with her dedication as last year, she picked a Gold in Commonwealth Games 2018 and one more gold in the tournament in Poland.
If we talk about other Indians, Pinky Jangra is on the eighth position in the 51kg category list. Former world silver-medallist Sonia Lather was placed at the second spot in the 57kg.
Asian silver-medallist Manisha Maun was placed 8th in the 54kg category. World bronze-medallist Simranjit Kaur holds 4th position in 64 kg category.
