The opinion came after SP leader Azam Khan, TMC leader, and AAP MLA questioned the schedule of Lok Sabha polls. They have questioned EC about the dates for the polls clashing with Ramadan.

On all the reactions and the tweets, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi also spoke that the whole controversy is “unnecessary” and “uncalled for”.

He said, “Muslims will definitely fast in Ramzan, they go out and lead a normal life, they go to office, even the poorest of the poor will also fast. My analysis is that this month (Ramzan) will lead to more voting percentage because one will be free from all worldly duties.”
