The Ministry Of Railways Issued The Statement That The Bridge In Question Was Of The BMC
A foot over bridge near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station in Mumbai collapsed during the peak office hours. In this incident, at least five people have died and more than 30 people have been injured.
All injured people have been shifted to nearby hospitals including GY Hospital and St George Hospital.
The Ministry of Railways, issued a statement that the bridge in question was of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

“However, we’re extending all our support to the victims. Railway doctors and personnel are cooperating with BMC in relief and rescue operations.” said Railways Ministry.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant clears that the bridge comes under the Railways.
He said, “It was maintained by the BMC. Regardless of whom the bridge belongs to, the BMC conducted an audit. I am not the authority.”
