Driver Of A School Bus Hit A BMW Car While Driving Using A Piece Of Bamboo In Mumbai
Can you ever imagine driving with the help of a bamboo stick rather than a gear? No, right? Well, here is a case where something like this actually happened. Yes, you read that right. The driver of a school bus allegedly hit a BMW car while driving using a piece of bamboo as a gear stick in Mumbai.
While going to school, the bus was moving at a slightly higher speed that it should have and it suddenly pounded into the BMW. During the confrontation, the driver disclosed that the steering wheel was giving him some problems for him to handle the bus. But now it seems that it wasn’t the wheel but the bamboo stick he was using as the gear.
The BMW owner called the police to investigate the matter. When the police got to the incident area, they asked the driver about him using the bamboo instead of gear, to which he replied that he was using it as the gear knob had broken a few days ago and he found the piece of bamboo to replace it.
Now, the driver Raj Kumar has been booked under Indian penal code, section 279 for rash driving and 336 for the act of endangering a person’s life.
